Three months since my last post. Crazy. Well things are good. Still breathing, eating, sleeping, taking care of my kids. I miss blogging on my own time. I love it but have found a new love, not to replace blogging, of course just to help with the brain keeping its wheels turning on creativity.
Connor is almost done with his second year of preschool. He is registered for Kindergarten and just a little over a month he’ll be five years old. Time flies. It really does. He has grown so much learned so much. He can finally write his name lower case and upper case letters all by hiself. He also tries to write other words but asks for help which is fun to do with him.
James is doing well. Though he wants to go to school so bad with his brother. He will have to wait until next fall(2011)but I wont know for sure until the middle of May when I get his preschool screening results back. He apparently did well. When he came out he told me he wrote an “E” along with a few other letters. His face just lite up like lights on a Christmas tree. I feel bad that he has to wait. Stupid deadline. He has to be four before October first and well, his birthday is on the thirteenth.
Everything else is going well. I became an aunt at the end of February to a girl. I’ve been babysitting her the past three weeks and love it! She is such a cutie. James adores her so much he wants to hold her all the time, kisses her as well.
And on to that new love it is playing as characters from the Twilight Saga Series by Stephanie Meyers on Twitter. It’s fun. It’s inventive. Some really great stories have happened in their lives after Breaking Dawn;TwiTwitter.
I hope this was a good update for some if I still have readers. Thank you for sticking around. I am heading to bed.

To my oldest, who is four years old and in his second year of preschool. Such a tall kid at such a young age, 44 inches. You did well with your shots. You’re good until you go into middle school, jr high.
You enjoy being out and about all the time, but with mommy babysitting that’s hard to do when we have a car that doesn’t have the room for three carseats in the back. I wish we could get a van.
I love the way you talk to your brother sometimes it’s funny. “You like it,” is what I heard in your recent conversation with James. You had just given him the Bob the Builder top for your guys apple juice drinks.
You have been very interested in art and pretend play lately. You like to pretend you are the chef and mommy is the customer. You had made me chicken and rice it was very delicious. I hope you keep it up because it could lead to something big!! Like Chef Ramsey from Hell’s Kitchen!!
Once mommy gets a house that has a bigger kitchen we WILL spend most of our time cooking and baking all kinds of food.
I can’t believe you will be 4.5 years old in December! Going through photos from years past has been great. Those days were great! These present days though are still great and just different in their greatness.
Keep learning and keep amazing me Connor Boy.
I Love You,
Mommy

First I was intrigued by all the women suggesting to read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. I borrowed the four books from a friend and had them all read before the movie came out last fall. I reread them after I received them as a gift at Christmas.
At the sametime I also received The House of Night Series by P.C. and Kristin Cast. I had them all read within a month and there were five, I hope to get the sixth one when it comes out next month.
Lately I’ve been reading Nora Roberts The Circle Trilogy starting with Morrigan’s Cross. SO far I like it. I’m on chapter seventeen and would LIKE to finish it before the weekend.
Then I’ve been hearing a lot about True Blood and Sookie Stackhouse. I had just watched two of the first episodes and was very intrigued. So my mom gifted me with four for Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse novels NOT starting with the first. I will have to find it so that I may read it from start to finish.
Just last week I watched Vampire Diaries and learned that it too is a book series by L Jane Smith, she is now on my to read list on GoodReads.com. I liked the first episode of Vampire Diares, Elena almost reminds me of a younger version of Eva Longoria and another actress but I can’t put my finger on it. It will drive me crazy until I have figured it out.
Anyway Jennifer of Rundpinne sent me an invite to Good Reads and I’ve found a lot of books that I would like to read just by reading other’s reviews. Quite fun. Makes me want to read as I’ve never been one for reading not even the books the teachers wanted us to read in school.

Look look… I have a page on Facebook now, you can either see it here or click on the fan button on my badge over there on the right side. There is also a badge for my husband’s page that I created for him. I will be posting pictures and videos of live demonstrations that he does of his artwork. So keep a look out for updates.
More that has gone on this week. Tuesday was the first MOPS meeting of the school year. I had a wonderful time chilling out and learning a few things about our leaders. Next meeting, if I’m able to go that is, every member will have their own Me Box with stuff that they enjoy with their family and self. I’ve already decorated mine and placed a few things in it.
I’ve also undergone a blog makeover that I totally love and will enjoy for months to come! All Thanks to Caitlin of MommyGeekology and Toni of A Daily Dose, who referred me to Caitlin. I gave her ideas for the header and a few iStock photos to go off of. What she created was AWESOME! I’ve always liked the images in headers of the moms and kids, so I had to go with that idea. Then I just told her something purple and to throw in some accent colors for the columns. I absolutely love what she’s done with the customizations. Caitlin was a joy to work with even though I wasn’t online every second of the day.
Yesterday we took the boys to the zoo and had a blast. We were there for five hours!! Took lots of pictures, saw a baby elephant too. The boys enjoyed themselves and slept on the way home.
Today we hung out over at my mother in-laws house for awhile recieved an MP3 player from her for my birthday and ate lasagna for dinner. My parents came over to our place, I recieved four Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris, a Katy Perry cd, a shirt and bed sheets! I’m so wondering what Chris bought me.. LOL I’m excited to see it. Then last but not least my brother, I hope he calls before he shows up at the house. I just might be in the tub enjoying some quiet time tomorrow.
Babysitting is going well, even though I’m only watching one child again. I just pray to GOD that I get to keep watching her soon. Her daddy is looking for a job. James enjoys Punky’s, the eleventh month old that comes to the house at 6:30 in the morning, time with us. This whole weekend he has been asking, “Where’s Baby?” I tell him that she is at home with her mommy and daddy. She turns one tomorrow! I thought that was really cool.
I’ve also been reading. Last year I read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer before the movie came out then I read the House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast. Now I started readin Morrigan’s Cross by Nora Roberts, that one is a bit of a reach for me but I will keep at it because it’s witches, wolves, vampires, warlocks and more. Just something about paranormal and fantasy that has really been intriguing. My mom has gifted me with four of Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse novels. I don’t have the first one so I will be reading those after I’m done with Morrigan’s Cross.

I’m beginning to realize what I may have missed out on while being a mother for the past four years. Don’t get me wrong I’ve loved every minute of it but I really feel like I need a vacation AWAY from all the stress of home and finances. Does anyone else feel this way?
I’ve felt like this for eight months now, but I’ve been on some medication because it got to the point that I was screaming at the boys and not wanting to do house work. Another thing that let me know something was going on was when a friend of mine asked me why I would want another baby. I’ve told her from time to time that I would like to have three and to try for a girl when the time was right for us again. She comes back to tell me that I was being selfish, now why on earth would I be selfish when I said I would wait til the time felt right again. I know emotionally and financially that we are not ready for another. Then I start crying and start the whole thing about me being as young as I am with two kids when it wasn’t planned that way.
I really just have a WHOLE mess of things in my head that, well, are somewhat confusing because I want to take off with my kids with or without my husband to just start over somewhere, meaning that I’d like my husband to get a different job. I HATE HATE HATE that he works third shift, I’M TIRED!! I want him home. I don’t sleep well period. Plus he works nights comes home in the morning then goes to bed and I’m with the boys ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT. It gets very tiring after awhile.
And just having recently been fired from my part time job and becoming a stay at home mom again has been rough on me. I loved being away from the house for about four to five hours. It was a very nice break and now I can’t get that. One thing good that did come out of this was that I started babysitting, kinda cheap but it’s helping her and myself out.

I know it’s been a LONG WHILE Since I’ve typed but I’ve been busy and with having NO internet at home it’s really rough to do anything.
We went to Michigan around the Fourth Of July for a family reunion, before that we had Connor’s fourth birthday. I will soon post pictures of both events but for now I will give just a few to show the fun that we’ve had the last few weeks.

I watched lasts nights episode and have been wanting to post about a few of the hotties that play on the show. One being Gary Sinise!!! OMG! YUMMY! He played the Lt Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump. He pla
ys Detective Mac Taylor on Crime Scene Investigation New York. I’m sure you’re wondering what is wrong with this girl. Well, Gary is one of those men that just has that appeal to me. I grew up watching him in movies and now he can come into my house every wednesday night and just show me those beautiful eyes and I melt right there on the couch.
There’s also Carmine Giovinazzo who plays Danny Messer. At first I wasn’t sure, but last night watching the show, man his baby blues just mezmorised me. These are two men that I could watch all day long! Heck they are two men that are wonkable. Yes, that word is exactly what you think it means. I’ve aquired it from a few friends that have been there for me through all the hard times a young couple goes through after getting married and having kids.
Anyway, these two men are my favorites off of CSI: New York. Who are some of your TV favorites?

That is the question?
Watching the
Dateline special with Nadya’s interview got me thinking. I understand both sides of the issue very well even though I’ve only had two kids. IT IS HARD! And with
14 that’ll been even harder with the economy at the moment. I agree she should’ve stopped at the last two she had which are the twins. Which leads me to ask this next question: Couldn’t she have donated her embryos to a couple that are having fertility issues? Honestly that would have been the better choice in my opinion because not only would she be giving someone else a chance to have a family, she would be saving herself and her kids the financial struggle they will have to endure. According to the
Dateline interview, people can go online to donate to the family. Honestly why would we want to donate to her? She did this to herself and she has to find her own way. She has to have other family members that would love to raise a few kids.
I also don’t see how people can be so rude about having so many kids. There is the Duggar Family on television that I have not heard ONE bad comment about and they have 18 KIDS. I know a mom who has five kids and I know she wouldn’t have it any other way no matter what happens in this world. Yet the comments towards Nadya and her 14 kids just irritate me. I understand what she did was irresponsible a little but leave the rude comments behind. There’s enough rudeness in the world why do we have to treat her with it. Rude people have no place to say what is right and wrong in other people’s lives. Worry about your own life and who is in it.
